Sydney Smart Web
FOR CAFÉS & RESTAURANTS

Keep the service moving while booking questions get answered.

During a busy service, phone calls compete with tables, orders and customers at the counter. A configured assistant can answer routine questions and collect booking requests.

How this can help your business

Collect reservation enquiries

Gather party size, preferred time and contact details without pulling staff away from service.

Answer approved venue questions

Share your opening hours, menu links, location and reservation policies.

Route special requests

Pass functions, accessibility questions and food-related concerns to the team when needed.

A useful enquiry, from first contact to follow-up

Questions your assistant could ask

How many guests are coming?

Which date and time are you considering?

Is there a question you would like the team to answer?

  1. Customer calls or sends a website enquiry.
  2. The assistant asks: How many guests are coming? Which date and time are you considering? Is there a question you would like the team to answer?
  3. Approved business information guides the answer; uncertain requests go to your team.
  4. Enquiry details are routed to your chosen callback, booking or notification workflow.

This illustrates a configured workflow. A booking or task is only confirmed when the connected system confirms it.

What could better enquiry handling be worth?

Adjust the example figures for your cafés & restaurants business. Separate the value of time from the possible sales opportunity.

Estimated team time freed
Estimated value of that time
Potential additional gross sales
Time value minus assumed service cost

Illustrative estimates based on your inputs. Time value is not necessarily a cash saving; gross sales are not profit or guaranteed results. Monthly figures use 52 weeks ÷ 12.

The service cost starts at zero because pricing has not been set. Enter your own assumed cost.

Hours = weekly routine enquiries × minutes per enquiry × automation percentage × 52 ÷ 12 ÷ 60. Time value = hours × hourly value. Potential gross sales = weekly missed enquiries × re-engagement percentage × sales conversion percentage × average sale value × 52 ÷ 12.

Cafés & Restaurants questions

Can it confirm a table?

Only when a connected reservation system returns an available, confirmed booking. Otherwise it records a request.

Can it answer allergy questions?

It can share approved information and route the enquiry to your staff. It should not invent ingredient details or make safety assurances.

Can it handle function enquiries?

Yes: collect the date, number of guests and contact details for your events team.

Is this already connected to live AI?

No. This site explains the proposed workflow. Phone, chat, bookings and notifications need to be configured and tested before going live.

Will it replace every human conversation?

No. You choose which routine enquiries it can handle and when it should pass the conversation to your team.

Plans, setup and getting started

Where can I see prices for this solution?

Voice Starter starts at AUD $49/month including GST for 200 voice minutes. One-time plan setup starts at $450. Compare voice, chat, recovery, reviews and automation options on the pricing page; the same plan allowances apply across industries.

Is a new website included and can I get a free trial?

A new website is a separately scoped project from $450 including GST. It is itemised alongside assistant setup and monthly service in your quote. There is no free trial. The showroom and demo websites help you explore before requesting a scope.

Can the assistant change languages during a conversation?

Yes. When live voice is connected, the website voice assistant can follow a change to another supported language within the same conversation. Connected text chat can respond in the language you type. This does not require a translated website or a new session. Phone-reception language availability depends on the configured provider and is confirmed before launch. The device-voice and curated text previews do not demonstrate live language switching.
